Second Meeting of the High-Powered Joint Trade Committee under the India-Mauritius CECPA

A delegation from India will be in Mauritius for the second meeting of the High-Powered Joint Trade Committee (HPJTC) to be held on 29th- 30th May 2024.

The objective of the meeting will be to:

• assess the trade trends following the implementation of the agreement,
• address trade barriers encountered by Mauritian operators on the Indian market,
• consider the possibility to improve market access by including new products, and 
• consider cooperation in areas identified in the Agreement such as Education, Renewable Energy, Health, Pharmaceutical Services amongst others.
